The cost of a 3D model and/or photorealistic images depends which option you choose. Check the different options on this page.
The size of the photorealistic interior images is 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is the limit that the light show program can produce for now.
The size of the photorealistic exterior images is higher (7,680 x 4,320 pixels) because we use a different program to render these images.
The time it takes for the creation of a big top 3D-model depends on the complexity of the design, the size of the tent/bleachers, etc, but in general a complete model takes about 15-20 hours to create before light fixtures can be imported to create the photorealistic images. Unless we tell you differently when you order, you can expect a first version of your model to be ready within one week.
The process in a very simplified way is as follows: import the 3D model into a program like Das3D (link). Then you’ll place the model in an HDRI-environment and click ‘render’. Without the HDRI-environment you’ll produce an image with a transparent background. An alternative option is by using a light show visualiser program like Capture (link).
In order to use my 3D-models to program lights or create light shows you will need to purchase a licence for a program like Capture (link). This program lets you import the .SKP-file, place all your light fixtures inside the model and control all the lights via your light control desk like GrandMA.
No you can’t! The 3D-model is sold exclusively to you, and you can not resell the 3D-model or any of it’s assets to a third-party. I will however allow for the sale of images that you have created by yourself using my 3D-models.
When ordering a 3D model from Big Top Models you’ll need to provide as many details about your tent as possible to avoid the need for lots of revisions. Send me photos, drawings, dimensions and blueprints together with your order and I’ll be able to give you an estimated time needed to complete your project.
My guarantee is very simple and straightforward: When you have approved the quote I give you, I send you the invoice, when the invoice has been paid I’ll start working on your model. During the creation of the model I will send you images for you to follow the process.
If you’re not happy with the final result, you’ll get two (2) revisions for free. Any revision after that will have to be paid 25% extra on the original invoice. Any extras you want to add during the creation process that were not included in the original quote will need a new quote and invoice before they can be added to your order.
No I don’t. Everything I know about 3D I have learnt on my own by following workshops, videos, reading manuals and books.
Besides being a circus performer I also have a genuine interest in big tops and circus tents. Making 3D-models of circus-related things keeps me in touch with the circus entertainment industry leaders and also help augment the quality of material that they use in the promotion of their circuses.

Of course. I can model any circus you like, even if you don’t have access to any blueprints. All I need is plenty of photos, and we should be good to go! However I can not legally include trademarked or copyrighted logos etc.in the models I make and sell these to private persons, so the model you order will not contain those.
