About the client

Cirque Bouffon is a small circus based in Cologne Germany, founded by Frederic Zipperlin in 2005. Their shows are poetic, acrobatic and only feature human artists. Inside the 18 metres diameter little tent the audience sits in 360 degrees around the 5,5 metres centre stage. Cirque Bouffon – Le cirque nouveau par excellence!

About the project

Because of the current restrictions that the German government has placed upon culture, Cirque Bouffon is in need of help to purchase a bigger tent. They are asking for 150.000 euros to construct a 24 metres big top and a bleacher for around 800 people, in order to maintain social distancing for about 350-400 people.

Big Top Models created a model of an idea of how the interior bleacher could possibly look like and donated a series of photorealistic images to Cirque Bouffon to use as they wish. If you wish to support Cirque Bouffon visit their GoFundMe-campaign.
